Ingredients

  • Wreath form - grapevine prefered
  • Two bunches of broom corn
  • Floral wire
  • Wire cutters or branch cutters

Instructions

  • First remove lower stalks from the broom corn and use the plain pieces to build a background. Weave the corn fronds through the grapevine wreath all around the wreath.
  • Once you have a good base, cut pieces of broom corn a few inches below the seeded "broom" part of the corn.
  • Push the cut bottoms through the grapevine wreath to secure it. You can use floral wire if you need to also.
  • Continue to weave corn through the grapevine going in the same direction until you get all the way around.
  • Lift the wreath to see how things are falling once it is vertical. Use floral wire to secure any pieces that stray too far from where you want them. Then hang and enjoy!
