Ingredients

  • 6 green onions, very bottoms and very flimsy tops removed.
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley, packed
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients - except the salt and pepper - in a food processor and blend.
  • Once blended well, add the 1/2 tsp of coarse sea salt and fresh ground black pepper. Blend again. If desired, add the additional coarse sea salt. Blend again.
  • Set aside for at least 30 minutes on the counter to let the ingredients come together.
