Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Saute pan

Ingredients

  • 3 cups radishes, quartered with the stems removed
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh cracked pepper
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for topping and additional sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  • Wash and remove the stems from radishes. Quarter them and add them to a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with the extra virgin olive oil and then use your hands to ensure all the radishes are lightly coated. Sprinkle on the sea salt and pepper.
  • Roast for 12 minutes.
  • Just before the radishes are done, add the butter to a non-stick sauté pan and brown it over medium heat. This will take three minutes and you want to continuously stir so it doesn't burn.
  • Add in the honey and lemon and whisk until well combined, then remove it from the heat. Add in the radishes as soon as they're done and coat.
  • Serve with fresh thyme or fresh rosemary and additional sea salt and pepper to taste.
