Ingredients

Float ingredients

  • 8 oz Champagne (Use sparking grape juice for the kids' version.)
  • 2 Tbsp. Raspberry Simple Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Simple Syrup
  • 1-2 small scoops of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • 2-3 small scoops of Raspberry Sorbet
  • Mint and raspberries as a garnish

Raspberry Simple Syrup Ingredients

  • 2 cups Raspberries
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1/2-1 cup water

Instructions

Instructions for the Raspberry Simple Syrup

  • Combine the raspberries, sugar and water on the stove over a low flame.
  • Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes and then let it cool.
  • Strain out the raspberries and add the mixture to a mason jar. Let it chill for 2 hours.

Instructions for making the Champagne Floats

  • Add ice cream and sorbet to the glass
  • Add in the vanilla and raspberry simple syrup.
  • Pour the champagne or sparkling grape juice over the top.
  • Garnish with mint and a raspberry. Drink with a straw.
