Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 package bacon
  • 2 lbs. Brussel sprouts, halved
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 -2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 -2 tsp. fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degree.
  • Add bacon to a baking sheet and alternate the direction it's laying. Make sure none of it is touching or overlapping.
  • Once oven has heated, add the bacon to the middle rack and bake for 18 - 20 minutes.
  • Remove bacon when done and add it to a plate with a paper towel to soak up extra grease and cool.
  • Preheat oven to 400
  • Lightly wipe the baking sheet to remove some of the grease. Leave some behind for cooking.
  • Add the halved Brussel sprouts to the baking sheet and brush olive oil on both sides. Add sea salt and pepper to both sides.
  • Bake Brussel sprouts for 20 minutes. If they look like they need more time add another 5 minutes.
  • Crumble bacon and mix with Brussel Sprouts. Add additional salt and pepper as needed and then serve.
