Add olive oil to a large pot or Dutch Oven and heat through.
Add onions and cook until they are translucent. Then add the carrots and cook about about two minutes.
Add the chicken broth and the Cannelloni beans and then bring to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer and add the rest of the vegetables EXCEPT the broccoli and peas.
Add the broccoli in about 30 minutes before serving. Continue to simmer.
Add the peas in about 15 minutes before serving. Continue to simmer.
Serve with additional fresh basil and fresh Parmesan cheese.
