Here’s a few laundry room organizing ideas that I hope you can use in your laundry space! From storage for detergent to baskets and dryers and more, this list will help you pull that room together with a cohesive look!
My laundry room has been on my “Needs to be renovated” list for a few years now. Sadly, I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon. However, it’s hasn’t stopped me from dreaming about laundry room organizing ideas that I love. As we kick off the new year, I’m always looking for ways to reorganize different parts of our home. This year, since I can’t renovate my laundry room, I’m focusing on some organization ideas that I think will help it function a bit better and look a little more streamlined. I wanted to share those with you today.
Detergent laundry room organizing ideas
So, we use a liquid detergent in our home and I love the idea of these pumps {HERE} to help give everything a uniform look. I also like that these can hold vinegar, which I will also often use. It’s a bonus that there’s two because if you have one person with more sensitive skin or a child that doesn’t like certain smells you can have a variety of soaps.
If you use pods, I love the idea of keeping them in a box like this {HERE}.
Dryer balls and dryer sheets
We use dryer balls in our laundry room to try to be more Earth friendly. I love these baskets {HERE} and {HERE} for holding them. In fact, these {HERE} are the dryer balls we use and I will probably never go back to sheets. These work really well and we get to use them over and over again.
If you do use dryer sheets, I love the idea of having the sheets either stored in a container like this one {HERE} or a basket similar to the one for the dryer balls.
Hampers and carts
A list of Laundry Room organizing ideas wouldn’t be complete without including a few hampers and carts. We actually all have these hampers {HERE} in our rooms. It makes it easy to take them back and forth to the laundry room. However, if I had room for it, I’d love to have a laundry room cart like this one {HERE} that I could wheel back and forth to everyone’s rooms.
Instead of a large cart, we do have a small cart for organization similar to this one {HERE}. If you don’t have a large laundry room, then something like this will be really helpful when it comes to laundry room organizing ideas.
Miscellaneous Laundry Room organizing ideas
When it comes to other odds and ends, like clothes pins, granulated detergent or another storage idea for your dryer pods, I love these simple glass containers {HERE}. You can see them in action in my fall S’mores bar set up {HERE}. I also love these glass containers {HERE} if you want something that closes a little more securely. We have very large versions of these in the pantry, which I will show you at some point here when I get around to organizing that.
Lastly, I’m using our laundry room to organize paint and paint supplies right now too. I love these canvas wall organizers {HERE} and {HERE} for paint brushes, miscellaneous tools and offs and ends like screws (that I always find in the dryer after they’ve come out of Kevin’s pocket).
Most of these ideas are from Amazon, but there’s a few from other places too. Check out all the links to the laundry room organizing products that I love below or visit my Amazon store {HERE} too.
Thank you so much for visiting today, friends! Good luck with organizing everything in your home this year as we once again try to pull it altogether in these quieter months. For more home ideas, click {HERE}.
