Math has never been my strong suit. So when I’m creating recipes or doubling them or halving them, it helps to have this handy dandy Kitchen Conversion chart printable hanging in my kitchen.
Sometimes it’s tough to calculate all the conversions for recipes – especially baking – in my head. Sometimes I’ll find a recipe that I want to make or a recipe that will inspire a new idea but I want to alter it some. And every now and then, I’ll find a recipe from Europe that uses milliliters. I won’t even pretend I understand how to use those measurement. Not to mention, I don’t have measuring instruments in milliliters either. So, having this chart nearby is a must.
Equivalents too
Additionally, I’ve added a few other items to this chart that you might find helpful when cooking. There’s a section on equivalents and approximate equivalents. I have to say the approximate equivalents is one of the highlights on this sheet for me because it gives you some great swaps for life today. It include a swap for eggs to applesauce and sour cream (which I tend to use in almost all my baking) to yogurt.
And something else I constantly search for…
Lastly, the Kitchen Conversion chart includes internal temperatures for meat. That includes the range of rare to well done for beef, turkey, pork, chicken, lamb and even fish. We don’t make pork a lot so whenever I do cook a roast, I’m always looking for the temperature for that and it’s so nice to know how to get a steak cooked to the perfect temperature for the person eating it.

This is so helpful. I can’t begin to tell you how many time I stood in front of my kitchen’s island and n google conversion metrics on my phone
Thanks! This is helpful! I’m in Europe so those milliliters are familiar to me, however, if I use American recipe then there are all those cups and oz and so I always try to figure out how much would they be in milliliters.
That is so awesome! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve needed something like this while I was cooking. Very cool.
Oh I love this! I’m always googling conversions when I’m cooking. Thanks for the fun chart. http://www.thedarlingdahlia.com

Math isn’t my favourite either. Kitchen Conversion chart looks perfect for me. I’m going to download it now.
This is perfect for me most of the time I need a conversion chart.
I love this idea and it’s really giving me great help most especially that I am now hooked on baking. Thank you so much!
This is so helpful! I will print this out and have a spare if my mom would want one also.
Love this and totally going to download it to print
I totally need this in our kitchen! Thank you so much for the printable!
I need this! I recently started a cooking blog and the biggest thing I struggle with is telling people how much ingredients they should use. I don’t know how to measure because I’m an intuitive cook. I typically would just know how much salt I need if that makes sense. I will need this for sure. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome! Good luck!
Having a kitchen conversion chart is a must. I have a magnetic one attached to the refrigerator. 🙂
